Title I

Our school is a Title I school, and as the parent/guardian of a child attending a Title I school you are an important part of the Title I team. Your input is vital in the planning and implementation of the parent and family engagement program and activities in our school. 

The focus of all Title I programs is to help eligible students meet the same high academic achievement standards expected of all children, regardless of their socioeconomic status and background. 

Ensuring that high-quality academic assessments, accountability systems, teacher preparation and training, curriculum, and instructional materials are aligned with challenging State academic standards so that students, teachers, parents, and administrators can measure progress against common expectations for student academic achievement. Affording parents substantial and meaningful opportunities to participate in the education of their children.

The following survey is confidential and will be used to assist us with future planning for parent and family engagement activities and events at our school.

CHS Annual Title I Meeting


The Annual Title I meeting held Thursday September 9th, 2021  provided an overview, purpose of Title I, what it means to be a Title I school, and parent and family engagement. The school would like your input on our school-wide goals, funding priorities, and 1% set-aside for parent and family engagement activities. 
We will spend some time discussing our School-Family Compact and School-Parent and Family Engagement Policy, and develop topics for Building Capacity for School Staff and Parents. Please sign-in and use the survey to provide input.
