CCHS cannot endorse one program over another. Parents are strongly encouraged to review each option thoroughly.

2015 Summer School Opportunities

Please keep the following in mind when registering for a course:

• All students are eligible to take a maximum of 2.0 Carnegie units (CU) from any accredited institution during the summer session. According to the Georgia Accrediting Commission (Standard 2: Summer School Part 3), schools may not grant credit for more than 2.0 CU's during the summer. 
• Magnet students are required to take all of their core classes as part of the Magnet cohort at Chamblee. Magnet students may not take core classes online.
• Please consult with a school counselor to confirm which courses are needed in summer school.
• AP Courses are not offered during the summer semester.
  Dual Enrollment courses may only be taken during the normal high school fall and spring semesters.
